What's Included
Every interior repaint includes the same baseline. We do not strip steps out to win a bid.
Walk-through and written estimate with paint brand and sheen specified
Floor protection (drop cloths to the subfloor) and furniture protection (plastic or move-out, your call)
Wall prep: patch nail holes, sand orange peel out of patches, caulk where it needs caulk
Two coats of Sherwin-Williams unless you ask for Benjamin Moore or PPG
Cut lines at ceiling, baseboard, and trim that we will stand behind
End-of-day cleanup every evening, full cleanup at closeout
A labeled touch-up can left with you for any future scuffs
Our Process
1. Color consultation. Sample chips on your dining table, talk through the rooms, talk through the light. We have opinions and we will share them if you want them.
2. Prep day. Outlet covers off. Furniture moved or wrapped. Drop cloths down. Patches sanded. The wall is ready before any color goes on it.
3. Paint. Cut in first, then roll. Two coats. The first one is the work and the second one is the finish. We move room to room so part of the house stays usable.
4. Final walk. Foreman walks every room with you, flashlight in hand. Anything you flag, we fix that day.
Paint We Use
Sherwin-Williams Emerald in eggshell is our default for living areas. Cashmere if you want a softer roll mark, Duration Home if there are kids and a wall that takes abuse. Bathrooms and kitchens get a moisture-rated finish. We will not specify a paint we have not used a hundred times in Treasure Valley houses.
If you have a favorite brand or sheen, tell us. We work in Benjamin Moore and PPG often.
Every job carries our written warranty
If the finish fails under normal use within the term, we come back and fix it. Plain language, in writing, at closeout.
Common Questions
Do you cover furniture, or do we need to move it ourselves?
Either way works. We can drape and move furniture to the center of the room and plastic-wrap it, or you can move it out and have a clean slate. The first option is included. The second sometimes saves a day of labor on bigger jobs.
How long will my room be out of use?
A single bedroom, usually one day of work and one night of cure before you put furniture back. A full main floor (living, dining, kitchen, hallway) is three to five days depending on the trim. We sequence it so part of the house stays livable throughout.
What paint brands do you use, and can I request a specific one?
Default is Sherwin-Williams. We are fluent in Benjamin Moore and PPG and use them often. If you want a specific brand, sheen, or color, name it. We will tell you honestly if there is a reason to pick something different for that surface.
Do you handle wall repair before painting?
Standard patch and skim work, yes. Larger drywall replacement (a section bigger than a sheet of plywood, water damage, holes that need a new piece of rock) we coordinate with a drywall sub or send you to one we trust.
What about ceilings? Do you paint them as part of the room?
Ceilings are an add-on, not automatic. Most ceilings do not need a repaint when the walls do, and we will tell you straight whether yours does. If they do, the price covers cut lines around fans and fixtures and a flat ceiling paint that does not flash.
Are you insured?
Yes. General liability and workers comp on the full 22-person crew. Proof of insurance is available before the job, not after.
