Our Warranty

Every job we do carries a written warranty. Jake answers the phone if something fails. This page is the plain-language version.

The Short Version

If the work fails under normal use, we come back and fix it. No charge for labor, no charge for paint. You call, we schedule, we make it right.

The warranty travels with the home. If you sell, the next owner picks up the remaining coverage.

Coverage by Service

Interior painting. Covers peel, blister, flake, and adhesion failure of the paint film under normal interior use.
Exterior painting. Covers topcoat adhesion, peel, blister, and stain bleed-through that should have been primer-blocked.
New construction. Matches the builder’s homeowner warranty terms, transfers to the buyer at closing as part of the builder packet.
Commercial painting. Scaled to the use of the building. High-wear spaces (restaurants, daycare, school) have shorter terms.
Epoxy floor coatings. Covers adhesion failure, delamination between base and topcoat, and abnormal wear under normal use.
Cabinet refinishing. Covers adhesion failure and abnormal wear of the finish under normal kitchen use.

What Is Not Covered

The same exclusions run across every service.

Impact damage (a cast iron pan against a cabinet door, an engine block on the floor, furniture into a wall)

Substrate failure (rotted wood, water damage behind siding, concrete cracks moving under the coating)

Storm, hail, or weather impact

Damage from harsh cleaners or chemicals not rated for the surface

Normal wear at high-traffic edges over years of use

Work overcoated by another contractor

Interior repaint with a vaulted wood ceiling in a Treasure Valley home
Refinished gray shaker kitchen cabinets with a marble backsplash in a Treasure Valley home

How to Make a Claim

If we cannot tell on a phone call, we come look. We would rather come out than tell you over the phone you are on your own.

Call (208) 571-7334. Tell us what is happening. Photos help, text them to the same number.

We schedule a walk to look at it, usually within a week.

If it is a warranty issue, we schedule the repair. No paperwork hoops, no deductible.

If it is not a warranty issue, we tell you, and we give you a price if you want us to fix it.

What Voids the Warranty

A coating or paint applied over our work by another contractor

Water intrusion (leaky window, failed flashing) painted over without the water source fixed

Pressure washing an interior surface

Pressure washing an exterior at over 1500 psi from close range

Insurance and Licensing

General liability and workers comp on the full 22-person crew. Idaho contractor license number in the footer of every page. COI available on request before the job starts.
